From Ft. Myers to Archbold (approximately 70 miles)

  1. Take I-75 North to State Route 80 East, Exit #141 (9 miles) to
  2. SR 29 North in LaBelle (25 miles)
  3. SR 29 North to US 27 North (15 miles)
  4. US 27 North to SR 70 West (20 miles)
  5. SR 70 West for 1.2 miles to
  6. Old State Road 8 (if you go over RR tracks on SR 70, you have gone too far)
  7. Left (south) on Old State Road 8 for 1.8 miles; Archbold’s main entrance on right

From Orlando to Archbold (approximately 105 miles)

  1. Take 436 (Semoran Blvd.) South (4 miles) to SR 417 (Central Florida Greenway, toll road) 
  2. SR 417 West (13 miles, tolls total $2.00) to
  3. I-4 West (towards Tampa) to US 27 South, Exit #55 (12 miles)
  4. US 27 South to SR 70 West (75 miles)
  5. SR 70 West for 1.2 miles to
  6. Old State Road 8 (if you go over RR tracks on SR 70, you have gone too far)
  7. Left (south) on Old State Road 8 for 1.8 miles; Archbold’s main entrance on right

From Orlando to Archbold (Green Route)

  1. Go east on Airport Boulevard W (.3 miles)
  2. Continue onto Terminal B (.3 miles)
  3. Continue onto Airport Boulevard E (1.4 miles)
  4. Bear left onto SR 436 N (Semoran Blvd.) (.3 miles)
  5. Bear right on ramp to SR 528 W (Bee Line Expressway) (.3 Miles)
  6. Continue west on SR 528 (6.3 miles)
  7. Bear right onto off ramp to Florida's Turnpike (toll road) (.1 mile)
  8. Continue South on Florida's Turnpike (61 miles)
  9. Exit Turnpike at Yeehaw Junction (SR60 - exit 193) - total Turnpike toll $4.90.
  10. Take right to West SR 60 for 0.25 miles.
  11. Turn left (South) on US 441 (~ 20 miles) passing through Fort Drum.
  12. Turn right (west) onto CR 68 (~10 miles)
  13. At stop sign, turn right onto US 98 (~5 miles) crossing the Kissimmee River.
  14. Just after crossing the river, turn left onto CR 721 (9 miles)
  15. At stop sign turn right onto SR 70 (17 miles)
  16. At intersection of SR 70 and US 27, continus west on SR 70 (1.2 miles) (if pass over the railroad tracks, you have gone too far)
  17. Turn Left (South) onto Old State road 8 for 1.8 miles.

From Tampa to Archbold (approximately 110 miles)

  1. Take I-275 South for 39 miles across the Howard Franklin Bridge, through St. Petersburg, and across the Sunshine Skyway-$1.00 toll to
  2. I-75 South to State Road 70 East, Exit #217 (10 miles)
  3. SR 70 East to Arcadia (40 miles), continue East from Arcadia (31 miles) to
  4. Old State Road 8 (immediately after RR tracks)
  5. Right (south) on Old State Road 8 for 1.8 miles; Archbold’s main entrance on right

From Miami to Archbold (approximately 145 miles)

  1. Take State Route 836 West (East-West Expressway) (4 miles) to
  2. SR 826 North (Palmetto Expressway) (5 miles) to
  3. US 27 North (Okeechobee Road) to SR 70 West (127 miles)
  4. SR 70 West for 1.2 miles to
  5. Old State Road 8 (if you go over RR tracks on SR 70, you have gone too far)
