Photo Album: High water at Archbold, August 2004.
At Archbold, more rain fell in August of 2004 (17.88 inches) than in any other August on record (August average is 7.41, 1932-2004). Seasonal ponds are full, water stands in many firelanes, and Old State Road 8 is flooded at the 90-degree bend at Hicoria.
