- LAN/WAN; a 100-meg, fiberoptic network (NSF/FSML funded) - including: Fast Ethernet
fiberoptic backbone installation (switch, hubs, and fiber); core NT Server Farm (3 RAID
servers) connecting 55 computers and serving 65 users, and 10 PC workstations
- Library books - 150
- Library bound serials volumes - 416
- Library shelving - 11 steel bookcases

Structural Improvements/Renovations

- Pine Cottage; a new 1,360 ft2 building (see photo below) - a 3 bed/2 bath,
wheelchair-accessible, housekeeping cottage plus furniture & fixtures; porch, deck,
& ramp; and shell walk & paved parking
- Computer Information Center, 750 ft2 (NSF/FSML funded) - remodel Library
attic into 6 rooms including; 2 offices, reading room, computer lab, server room,
equipment room, and furniture & fixtures
Pine Cottage, a 3-bedroom, pre-fabricated
house, with facilities for disabled visitors, was assembled at Archbold’s
Main Grounds during November 1997. The site, just south of the water
tower, is landscaped with native scrub plants. The Pine Cottage was
built courtesy of a generous donation by Mrs. Frances Hufty;

Lynx Cottage (constructed in early
1940s), with a new roof and screen porch, has 2 bedrooms and a living
room, dining room, and kitchen;
