Air Potato (Dioscorea bulbifera)

Thicket of air potato covering saw palmettos

 

Each plant can produce hundreds of bulbs.
Bulbs vary in size from the size of a BB to nearly as big as a softball.

 

Flowers are minute and produced during the Fall (October)
