To find a list of endangered species select "Endangered Species" from the home page. You will be transferred to their "Endangered Species Program Home Page" (http://endangered.fws.gov)  where you should select "Wildlife & Plants" from the navigation box. You have now reached "Threatened and Endangered Wildlife and Plants"  You can choose one of two paths:

-Select "Species Information by FWS regions," "Index - Southeast Region (4) Listed Species" to find alphabetical lists of endangered species of the southeastern U.S., including Florida;
or
-Select "Species Listed in the U.S." and the group of animals or plants of interest.

From either choice you will be led to species information where you should select  "learn more" and "species accounts"  to find detailed biological information about each species.
