Positions at Archbold Biological Station

Archbold Biological Station employs about 40 personnel, full time and part-time of whom ~60% are science staff, in a series of divisions for scientific programs, administrative support, kitchen, land management and maintenance crews.  We provide purposeful jobs, excellent benefits and a caring, varied, and rewarding work environment; many staff have worked with us for twenty to thirty years.  We accept unsolicited applications but all Open Positions are posted on the web site. There are additional  employment opportunities, with about 15 research and operational positions including ranch crew, at the MacArthur Agro-ecology Research Center.


Avian Ecology Research Interns

Approximately mid-January through July in the Avian Ecology Lab at Archbold Biological Station, directed by Dr. Reed Bowman. The lab focus is understanding long-term population dynamics of Florida Scrub-Jays in a variety of landscape contexts in south-central Florida. read more here...
