Archbold Biological Station is a division of Archbold Expeditions. The Executive Director of Archbold Expeditions is chief executive and operating officer of Archbold Biological Station, and reports to the Board of Trustees. The Executive Director communicates Board actions to Station staff and keeps the Board informed as to Station programs. The Executive Director establishes Station policy; hires and terminates employees; drafts and manages the annual budget of the Station; directly supervises all Research Biologists and Specialists on the staff; seeks revenue sources for programs consistent with the Station mission; and is responsible for inspirational leadership in research, conservation, and education.
