Behavioral Objectives:
As a result of our unit of study, participating students would, ideally, be able to:
State the essential roles of and give examples of producers, consumers and decomposers in an ecosystem.
Construct food chains of natural ecosystems.
State examples of interdependence between members of natural ecosystems.
State examples of adaptations of plants and animals to their environment.
State ways that research expands our understanding of natural processes, and give examples of techniques used by scientists.
State reasons for protecting natural ecosystems from harm, and identify ways that young people can help.
