Water Projects in the Avon Park Air Force Sentinel Landscape

Wed. 06/03/26; 2:00 pm - Wed. 06/03/26; 6:00 pm

Swindle Agricultural Complex at Warner University, 13895 US-27, Lake Wales, FL 33859

What You’ll Learn

Curious what a Dispersed Water Management (DWM) project actually looks like on working lands? This workshop is designed to give landowners, producers, and partners a practical look at how these projects function, what participation can involve, and what funding opportunities may be available through the Avon Park Sentinel Landscape.

You’ll hear directly from producers already participating in DWM projects, meet organizations involved in the Readiness and Environmental Protection Integration (REPI) Program funding opportunity, and have opportunities to ask questions and connect one-on-one throughout the day.

What to Expect

The workshop will include short presentations from partner organizations, informational posters and resources, and a producer panel discussion focused on real-world project experiences. Time will also be built in for informal conversations with producers and program partners.

Continental breakfast, snacks, and lunch will be provided.
