Agroecology Research Intern

Elik Esquilin is a research intern in the Agroecology lab at Buck Island Ranch. Elik previously conducted undergraduate bacterial metabarcoding research using environmental DNA (eDNA) to assess aquatic microbial diversity in polluted waterways across South Florida, as well as soil microbial communities from improved and semi-native pastures at Buck Island Ranch.
